Reporting to the Head of Trade Communications, this national role is responsible for creating and executing communications strategies that inform our internal and external audiences about NE portfolio of products, performance and points of different earned through brand awareness and preference.
We’re looking for a gifted writer and audio-visual communicator with experience crafting persuasive stories across multiple channels. They will be well versed in media trends and have a natural passion for ‘what’s next’.
Core to role is to initiate commercially relevant conversations with our trade partners and our commercial teams in entertaining ways spanning (but not limited to);
EXPERIENCE: Born from a product, brand or campaign inspiration point these demonstrates our capabilities and start critical conversations through customer or brand experience.
EVENTS: built to drive awareness for our internal and external audiences that capture attention at scale, educate, inspire around new or existing products.
ENABLEMENT: Programs or collateral or designed to enable commercial teams to be effective in market and ensure the commercial strategy is mobilised at scale and with consistent professionalism.
ENGAGEMENT: Campaigns or content designed to drive engagement with NE through owned channels.
This role is both equal parts strategic and operational and core to role is the effective day to day workflow for the Trade Communications team encompassing all of the above. Via a clear strategic plan set by the Head of Function with your support, you will drive high performance outcomes through effective team operations designed to achieve team goals.
Key to success in this role is the ability to connect with and mobilise key stakeholders and teams behind the strategic plan enabling them creatively, strategically and operationally. This is a very varied and ‘hands on’ role that will test your intellect and resilience – with regular recognition and reward. It requires a high level of organisation and initiative.
The ideal candidate has worked in a like role or division at a media publisher or brand for 4+ years and be regarded as a talented rising star. This role offers leadership experience for an aspiring people leader with the direct management of one Project Manager (based in Sydney or Melbourne) and is a part of the national CREATE Leadership team.
Content marketing, media sales or commercial operations experience will also be highly regarded.
