No two days at work will be the same at NOVA Entertainment. Within our fun and dynamic environment, on any given day you will be working closely with a dedicated group of People Leaders (in specific divisions) to support the delivery of their people plans by providing expert guidance, employee relations advice and general support. 

Reporting to the Amanda Bollans (our Chief People Officer and awesome leader), you will hold a critical role in partnering with all levels of the business to provide HR support nationwide. You will also be part of a hands-on People Experience team that value open and honest communication, a collaborative approach to working in a team, and an appreciation of a good GIF game when bantering on TeamsChat.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Providing coaching to develop people leaders to build both our business and our people
• Advising leaders on performance management, capability development, recruitment & remuneration, Employee Relations, dispute resolution and employee engagement
• Leading cyclical PX experiences such as performance check-ins, engagement surveys and remuneration review
• Partnering with the business to develop and implement PX plans and national projects that create value to the business and drive employee engagement
• Providing mentoring and guidance on complex PX matters
• Involvement in and Championing of PX initiatives in areas such as D&I, Women in Tech, internal systems improvements and broader community projects when required

About You

This is a superb opportunity for someone who has proven experience at a HR Business Partner or HR Manager level (depending on the size of organisation you are coming from). You will have a strong background in managing employee relations, understanding legislative frameworks and how it is applied in practice, and a knack for balancing the day to day with project deliverables. You have a passion for people, the ability to influence, coach, influence and build relationships with senior leaders. Of vital importance is that you are resilient and work collaboratively and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
