NOVA Entertainment has exciting opportunities for innovative Podcast Producers (we’re looking for Producer, Senior Producer and Executive Producer levels depending on experience) to join our team in Sydney.
Working with the amazing Rachel Corbett (Podcasting Expert, Founder of PodSchool) and her team, you will be responsible for producing and editing existing podcast content and working on the development of new original content in a growing team.

What we’re looking for:
- You’ll be comfortable creating soundscapes and developing audio branding as well as the day-to-day content editing of your shows.
- You’ll manage hosts, shape stories, book guests, prep and outsource research, and work with a team to create award winning audio.
- You will work on several shows in various stages of production.
- You are known for being detail-oriented, deadline-driven, growth-minded, and comfortable working in both a team and independently.
- You’ll have an eye for finding a compelling angle for any given subject, and an ability to tell a story both conversationally and creatively.

Skills You'll Have:
- Minimum 2-5 years professional podcast production experience
- Exceptional organisational skills, ability to prioritise work, and a track record for turning around audio on a tight deadline
- Ability to script and edit narrative in a creative way and write for different talent
- Be comfortable managing talent and providing constructive feedback
- A positive attitude and a team player
- The ability to integrate brands into creative content including turning a commercial brief into compelling copy for host read ads or video/social extensions
- Proficiency in audio mixing and content editing
- Knowledge of sound recording and ability to troubleshoot in studio and field environments
- Intermediate to advanced experience in Adobe Audition
- An understanding of how to turn podcast content into compelling social media posts
- Eagerness to take direction and grow in the position
