Assistant Producer

Become a team member in one of Australia's top rating radio shows in 2021, Smallzy’s Surgery. Play a crucial role as Assistant Producer, in the production which has access to the biggest festivals, concerts, movie premieres and celebrities with the highly successful NOVA Programming Team behind you. The role not only ensures the strategy; content and delivery meet the objectives of the NOVA brand, but is relevant and in touch with the target audience. 

You  need to be a self starter, have incredible music passion and knowledge and be inspired to make great radio by entertaining our listeners. We are looking for someone with fresh ideas and a drive to develop new ideas that make award winning radio. 

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a passion and obsession for all things pop culture, music and everything “trending”
• Is committed to developing and implementing “world class experiences” for our listeners and commercial partners.
• Is ambitious and has the ability to multi-task and manage their time effectively whilst working across several projects at once.
• Has a desire to work in a fast paced and fun environment with an appetite for success.
• Attention to detail is a must
• Has an outstanding work ethic and high integrity
• Has the ability to implement creative and effective promotional concepts

To be successful in this role you will have: -

• Minimum 1 year previous Programming, Producing, Commercial Radio experience.
• Advanced MS Office, Excel and Microsoft Outlook experience.
• Excellent internal and external stakeholder management, influencing and consultative communication skills
• Exceptional time management skills and love of deadlines.
