Reporting to the Commercial Strategy Director, this national leadership role is responsible for creating and executing communications strategies that inform our internal and external customers about NE portfolio of products, performance and points of difference.

We’re looking for a natural thought leader with the leadership skills and influence to inspire, educate and drive action from national sales teams and senior stakeholders alike to achieve company revenue goals and drive growth through the execution of your strategic plan.

Core to role is your awareness of the market and your understanding of the current challenges that advertisers and sales teams face. You need to be adept in envisaging strategic solutions to meet these challenges and able to create targeted communication strategies that connect both businesses.

To be successful in this role, aside from being a great communicator, you will need to be ruthlessly discerning with your time and highly skillful at prioritizing team effort and energy to align with the most commercially influential endeavors.

This role actively and regularly collaborates with aligned functions including; Agency & Direct Sales, Group Marketing, Campaign Strategy & Delivery teams, Publicity, Digital, Inventory, and Legal.

Key to success in this role is the ability to connect with and mobilise key stakeholders and teams behind the trade communications plan, enabling and empowering them creatively, strategically and operationally.

This is a very varied and ‘hands on’ role that will test your intellect and resilience whilst requiring a high level of organisation, and initiative.  In exchange, the development opportunities are many and the recognition regular.

The ideal candidate has likely worked in a like role or division at a media publisher, brand or agency for 5+ years.  Content marketing, media strategy or commercial operations experience will also be highly regarded.
