Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, this national commercial role is responsible for the retention and growth of traditional and new revenue streams through the avenue of event partnership solutions made between Nova Entertainment brands & event owners/promoters.

This role is both equal parts strategic and operational and core to role is the effective day to day servicing of the Priority Nova Entertainment Events Partnerships portfolio and successful execution of the Event Partnerships Business Plan, which has shared accountability across the Partnerships team and the Brand & Promotions team nationally.

Together with the Head of function and in consultation with the Group Marketing Director, you drive high performance outcomes through effective and regular engagement with the Commercial Teams and the Brand & Promotions teams nationally, both of whom are integral to the successful achievement of targets & performance metrics.   Core to your success is the ability to mobilise these teams behind the plan, enabling them creatively, strategically and operationally.

You will communicate effectively and often, across the business and with the market, to optimise performance against objectives – this is not a role that can be independently successful without the buy in and cooperation of all stakeholders. 

As a result, you will be a natural negotiator, a skillful problem solver and be able to foster positive relationships both across the business and with your client base to enable your ability to achieve required outcomes at pace and with the appropriate influence and support. 

To be successful in this role, you will need to be ruthlessly discerning with your time and be highly skillful at prioritizing your effort and energy to align with the most commercially influential endeavors, balancing response and pursuit appropriately at all times.

As the ideal candidate, you have 5+ years’ leadership experience at a media publisher or brand in a like role and have proven success in conceptualizing, producing and selling integrated brand solutions, designed to meet market opportunity.

Other relevant experience includes;

  • Senior sales / business development experience with strong in market relationships across brands and agencies with the ability to convert a new client base quickly
  • Proven experience managing and meeting a sales budget
  • Excellent presentation building and delivery skills
  • Advanced administrative and reporting skills
