ABOUT THIS POSITION

We're on the hunt for Level 1 IT Support on a 12 month contract! We know a lot of companies say that no two days are the same. Well, with this role we really mean it! On any given day you could be working with the Sales team to set up and test the technology for a big pitch, the next day you might be organising a new starters laptop and building access, followed by running a staff training session on video conferencing and Skype for Business.

Based in Sydney and reporting into the Business Support Manager, you will be a crucial player in providing world-class customer focused IT support to all NOVA staff enabling them to perform at the highest possible level.

This means:

  • Being the first-line of support for all staff IT queries in-person as well as phone, email and IM.
  • Providing broadcast technology support to the station Broadcast Engineers to ensure the continuous, highest quality transmission.
  • Contributing to proactive ideas for exceptional customer focused IT service to NOVA staff.

ABOUT OUR LEVEL 1 IT SUPPORT – YOU?

SUPERNOVA is someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and put in the work to achieve the desired outcome- no matter how small the task. SUPERNOVA is great with people and can talk to all stakeholders in the business from a new starter to the CEO! You might be our SUPERNOVA if you:

  • Are client and customer focused
  • Are a great team player and confident in working automonously with minimal supervision
  • Have experience working with MS Office suite, Microsoft server environments, networking, remote access and VOIP telephony.
  • Have tertiary qualifications in IT or a similar field.
  • Possess radio, television or media experience (favourable but not essential)
