Our Business Development Manager will form a new unit in an established and successful media sales team. Working closely with your team leader, and the Head of Direct Sales, you will support 5-6 Senior Account Managers by strategically developing and qualifying revenue opportunities. We envisage this role also form a pathway into account management – it will come with extensive training and development; you will become familiar with our business, our internal and external stakeholders, and have opportunities to join our senior account executives in market.
THE SUPERNOVA PROFILE
Our Supernova will be a sales professional with previous experience in a business development role. Experience in the radio, digital or media advertising industry will be highly regarded. You will have a professional manner in person and over-the-phone skills that would leave your competition for dead. You will bring to the team a motivated, proactive and dynamic sales approach and have the ability to multi-task and manage your time effectively.
You will generate new business opportunities to drive the Sydney Direct Sales team and meet clear KPI’s each week in terms of prospecting and appointment setting. Most importantly, you will learn our software systems to identify target clients and industries through reporting on media spends and trends in our market.
